Leah Vixamar builds interior spaces with purposeful intention. Armed with a unique flair for cultural style, Leah is a fashion enthusiast who listens to her clients carefully to ensure that all projects are reflective of their specific tastes and needs. Her work evokes joy, inspires creativity, and ensues peace for those fortunate to experience the transformative vibe of a Leah Vixamar designed room. 

Hailing from the Bay Area’s San Jose, California area, Ddana Leah Vixamar was born with a mix of artistry, entrepreneurship, and glamour running through her DNA. Her “HGTV Queen” of a mother owned a lingerie line, and a bridal boutique, in addition to lending home services to friends. Leah grew up shadowing her mother’s painting, wood paneling, and furniture assembly. She attended Atlanta’s historical Spelman College as a legacy following in her Grandma Martha’s footsteps, who also encouraged Leah to soak up the beauty of and be inspired by the pages of VOGUE magazine and Neiman Marcus catalogues. That coupled with the influence of new friends and trends from all over the country, Leah’s pre-med path was gradually derailed to pursue a career more aligned with self-expression. Her product experience as a Nordstrom designer shoe specialist served as the foundation that led Leah to launch Leah Vixamar Shoe Collection, which grew into an international brand, selling in boutiques from New York to Japan. 

Leah developed an appreciation for travel and diverse cultures, embracing a natural love for architecture and art history from places including Tulum, Paris, and throughout Africa. Elements from each destination shapes her approach to curating decor, whether for residential or commercial spaces. 

In 2020, Leah was commissioned by travel website Booking.com to custom design 4 out of 20 themed suites for their2020 New Year’s Resolutions campaign. Her work for the campaign was featured in Ad Age, Adweek, the TODAY Show, USA Today, Travel + Leisure, and the Robb Report. When she’s not in the midst of a custom renovation or adventure travel, Leah resides in South Florida with her husband and two daughters.
